The brake regen was the first thing I noticed when test driving the truck. Now jumping in my Tesla after a few days and I forget how weak Tesla is comparatively. I like how Rivian has implemented it, personally.
The problem with Tesla is that they don't actually document their changes properly. 2023.32 only had the following release note:
"You can now choose Hebrew as your touchscreen language.
To change the language, shift into Park, and go to Controls > Display > Touchscreen Language."
However...
I had this same issue and have a shop visit scheduled for later this month, however it hasn’t happened again since 2023.34 installed. I’ve used the tailgate multiple times without issue. Also the strange sound it was making on the passenger side (three mechanical clicks and whirs) when...
I really don't think it's that. It's short trips or undesirable conditions that cause it, and it's identical with ICE cars. I made 4 short trips with the R1T the last two days and I dropped 6% with less than 10 miles, but it's because they are extremely short trips. I get it. Same with a...
I'll comment on this one because it's so true. I haven't seen an EV that can do it's stated range when talking about actually keeping up with traffic in the Detroit area.
For me, I can get the stated range out of our Teslas or I can completely destroy a charge 40% quicker based on my driving. 60-65mph and the Teslas will, almost assuredly, hit their targets. Going closer to 80mph and it starts dropping like a rock. I will say that I am able to get way more...
These are all 100% accurate points. The R1T drives like a truck- throttle feels laggy (even though it's really not), suspension wallows in Sport mode, completely floats in other modes. I appreciate both driving dynamics.
I am not going to claim to be perfect- I have missed a light change. In that same sense, there is absolutely no reason for BLIS either then, right? We all 100% see everything when changing lanes. The same thought process can be applied to most preventative safety systems. It's a nice-to-have...
As a Tesla owner and just taking delivery of an R1T, there are a lot of Tesla features that should be pretty easy to enable quickly.
Windows up on lock (unless I am missing where this setting is)
Addition of Work as a location where I can turn off gear guard, auto locking, etc.
Cameras on turn...
