I have the EV Sportline Rock Sliders on my R1T. I just had my R1T in the SC for warranty work. They replaced the joist lines and front dampeners. They made no mention of my rock sliders .. and I was charged nothing for the warranty work.

I had this same issue, I noticed it when it got really cold out. I was in for service, and the tech said they just spray some lube on the leather there in the steering column. I saw the remnant's - so it was for sure some sort of spray lube they applied to it. So far so good, but makes sense...
