I used this one for a lock with the included pin from etrailer. Need some additional nuts and washer to get it to work though. Not the most secure but kind of looks it..

Here is my contribution to the thread. I don't quite have my r1s back yet but used a r1t in the meantime. Might be helpful for the r1t owners who are considering a hitch mount carrier. The 2in spacer works perfectly, only thing is the spare lock won't work and might just get wheel locks (though...
I think the E trailer aligner helps secure the mount in place and helps with rattling if you put just a normal locking pin, though not sure how it will hold up over time.
@Vegas_R1S did you order GDSMOTU 5x5.5 Wheel Spacers 2 Inch for Ram 1500 1994-2010 yet? I could try and bite the bullet on...
Oh I didn't gave a good look inside so that's good to know! I had previously bought an angle grinder before I found out you can use the 2nd hole. Still debating to use the new method of cut away. Would probably have to paint it, which could be annoying.
Thanks for the update! Hope it works out. I was looking at other hitch mounts but any others seem to not be able to handle the weight or reasonable priced.
Glad I got my kuat pivot before the cat is out of the bag. @909phillyman, did you end up getting this pin? https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch-Lock/Lets-Go-Aero/63232.html
I was hoping to get mine up and running this week but my 12v died on me yesterday..
Thanks for the back up camera pictures! All things considered it isn't terrible. Might get a bit worse if you end up cutting the carrier closer.
Have you figured out a solution to attach your license plate? I was thinking I might just zip tie the front plate holder on the arm.
I took a look at the E trailer mount and their anti wobble pin, any concerns of people undoing it and taking your spare? Still interested to see if you are able to see anything in the reverse camera. I got my kuat and my spare, just need the mount now.
There is an option to turn off the rear sensors aka towing mode in the vechile options. How is the rear camera visibility with the tire on? Do you have any pictures? Thanks for taking the plunge on this budget option!
