I got an on-line request to re-validate my identity when I was about to remote start the heat on my truck. Now I am completely locked out of my R1T. I entered my credentials as requested and received a PIN on my phone which I also entered. All seemed OK until I tried to access the truck...
The cruise control can be fixed with a hard reboot, as can many glitches. I had multiple failures of cruise control when I hit a hard bump at highway speed. Got the same message and was able to fix it with a reboot. That problem seems to have gone away; however, others such as a failure of my...
I did as suggested and hold the tail gate closed while cycling the open button. This seems to have held, at least for the moment. The tail gate is clearly "in" to far, so when the weather clears I plan to adjust the latch as suggested. I'll let everyone know how that goes.
This may have worked (at least temporally). The tail gate is indicating shut, but I need to drive a bit on some bumps to see if it stays so. That said, the alignment is now poor as the tail gate is about 1/8+ inch in too far on the left. Thanks for the suggestion!
Fingers crossed. Unfortunately, service is woefully understaffed. The last advisor I spoke with accused me of lying about an emergency appointment that was schedule over the weekend. These folks must be massively overworked or underpaid or both.
The tail gate on my R1T won't stay closed. While it seems to hold in place, it is clearly not tight and the sensors indicate it is open. This of course disables the park-assist sensors on the sides and back. Is there any way to adjust the latches to hold tighter? It is not the latching loops...
If I hit a good size bump while driving at highway speed I get a message that Auto-steer and cruise-control are disabled and to call service. This has happened several times and each time service says to do a hard "re-boot". Has any one else experienced this issue? I have never had a car or...
303 is a great product for protection and cleaning. I'd suggest getting the bulk of the dirt off first, but 303 gets everything clean and leaves a uniform and not "too shiny" look. I have used it for years on the rubber parts on airplanes (specifically de-ice boots on the leading edges of wings).
