I posted some pics in another thread, but i took a 15 min trip, about 11.7 miles. The 15 min graph said 3.79 mi/kwh and the trip meter said 1.20 mi/kwh... I don't expect them to be the same, but under these conditions they shouldn't be that far off...

The best part of having recovery boards is that you can "help" by handing them to someone who is stuck and let them get themselves out. They may spin the tires and rip off the nubs on the board, but that is better than risking your $100k vehicle to un-stupid whatever stupidity they did to get...

my empirical experience is it happens more often to whatever vehicle you are in a forum for. Head over to the chevy/GMC/Cadillac forums and search for "lifter failure". Happens to both their 5.3 and 6.2 and GM just ignores it and hopes you make it out of warranty before it happens.

I am actually frustrated that they didn't make the S the same length as the T. the 3rd row could use the extra inches. If they came out with an R1S-xl with more 3rd row leg room and more storage with captains chairs in the 2rd row (walk through middle) i would upgrade in a heartbeat.
