I already have a Chargepoint charger installed and it works fine so don't need the Rivian charger. Brand new, never opened Rivian Wall Charger. I am in Raleigh, NC area. Will ship the charger for $600. Or if you are nearby can pickup for $575.

Couple questions… I don’t drive much. Maybe 20-30 miles per day. I charge to 70% normally. Is it better to let it drop to say 40% and then charge back up to 70% or just keep it plugged in every day to keep at 70%? Second question… I actually use both a 48amp L2 charger and a regular 110v...

I've gotten in the habit of getting those external ones. Usually, they go on the front plate but we don't have front plates here. They are black and I zip tie it to a black grill portion. Hard to notice and works well.

Maybe if I skip calibration. Was initially checking to see if I could just swap stock Rivian 22” with 20” and was told it had to be done at service center for calibration. Agree, AT is overkill but do like the looks and would certainly be good in snow. Maybe an occasional beach driving at OBX.

I wish there was a way to have a set of 22" all-season tires and a set of 20" all-terrain tires that could be easily swapped without any calibration. I always thought that was possible with the right tire sizing factored in. I am getting the 22"s but would totally get a set of 20" all terrain...

Maybe consider a ceramic tint. Those can be great for heat and UV rejection and still let you enjoy the view.

Having similar issue. Not with middle name but with format. My delivery date is 9/22. My insurance provider (Progressive) let's me add a vehicle with that future start date and provides a proof of coverage letter. That has all the details, Names, vehicle, policy holder, address, coverage...

Or better yet, go the Tesla route. One of my fave features on Tesla is you can set the garage door to activate when at a distance you set (I use 75'). Then you can enable auto fold/unfold side mirrors. When leaving, side mirrors are closed and when you exit the garage, the garage door is closed...

My R1S reservation went from pending to an assigned date of Dec/Jan. Got super excited. Logged in and saw they had pre-config options that I could get in 6 weeks. Took a look and the pre-config models also honored the early reservation price. They didn't have my top color but I found a green one...
