Yes, it is true. You are NOT subject to the income limit. (as long as you had at least $7500 tax liability in 2022, of course)
Ps. If you want to save more money, you know what to do with that CPA.
Completely as expected on the state of charging.

While I wait impatiently for my Quad-motor R1S Adventure, I thought it would be insightful to learn others' reasons for purchasing (or reserving) an R1S. I'm sure some have a long list of reasons but I'd like to hear your top 3.
I'll start with mine:
Electric. I have only driven EVs for the...
Sorry to hear about your experience; sadly, none of that surprises me at all.
I am disappointed that they didn't promise to make up for their sliminess by offering you lifetime of oil changes.
It has been a few years since I needed a painless dent repair. My research led me to Ryan, who did a great job at a very reasonable price. During those pre-coved days, his schedule was very busy so it did take me a few weeks to schedule an appointment with him. But he came to my home and...
I truly appreciate everyone for sharing their thoughts.
I have decided to purchase the quad-motor.
My reasons amounted to: (YMMV)
relatively small additional cost (at this time)
earlier availability
longer comprehensive car warranty
higher miles battery warranty
upcoming NACS compliance...

Oh man, you are not helping! :) Seriously, you meant that you would strongly recommend the dual-motor IF/WHEN there was a price drop below $80K, right? Thanks for sharing your perspective.

Do not remind me of the X price cuts:mad:; that wound is too deep and fresh to think about... $36K drop ($126K->$90K) on the price of new Model X Plaid in one year. You make a good point though.
All good points; I hadn't factored the Bosch versus in-house motors. It was the out-of-spec review which made me doubt my original decision. So, I guess it wasn't just about the Cost and Availability.
I haven't heard about a price cut (doesn't mean that it's not coming, just that I don't...
