I bought and used a Leenpecker unit. Worked fine until it got wet while charging outside. One of the small data pins broke off inside the Tesla charge head. This is clearly the reason you don't want to go for cheap. Had to replace the whole Tesla charge unit!

When I was shopping running boards, the fact that you could lift/jack anywhere on the sliders was a selling point for me. I believe lifting from the slider is very common.

I would agree with your comment as PITA. It is really hard to interpret manufactures towing specifications. Like Rivian the big print says (11,000 towing capacity) Small print says with WD hitch. Boat trailers seem to be a class of their own, surge breaks the norm. What I was pointing out is...

I would agree! Very happy with my setup. Also backing up is a breeze compared to surge brakes.

That makes sense. The G25 seems that much larger, especially when on the trailer. I was not thrilled with the triple axle at first, but once I pulled it, all was good. The electric over hydraulic was new to me, but a welcome addition. You might make sure your 25 has that feature.

With the electric over hydraulic you are correct. However I only tow twice a year and am thrilled I have control over the the boat trailer brakes. Also, hitch weight on the vehicle was not even an issue. I was ready to get a WDH setup, but find it unnecessary in my situation.

I was there last month with a couple issues on my new R1T. Tailgate needed adjusting and hood was not going down and lccking. They fixed both issues, completed same day. Very personable and efficient. I live in Kenmore, so very easy.
