No no, not it didn't happen again. As I mentioned in the original thread, the technician pointed out that this was an additional mistake I made in addition to leaving it at 10/20 miles of range overnight. And as I mentioned in that thread, I thought it would make sense to highlight this one...

Final update: Seems like nobody else has had issues with this adapter. So it was probably just an excuse the service center gave me so that they wouldn’t have to take responsibility… –--------- Original comment: I installed the adapter and left my car unplugged overnight with only 10 or 20...

Alrighty all, here's the final update on my R1S. It took a few weeks before I'm getting it back tomorrow because of some other issues that were being looked at. Thankfully, all that my stupidity destroyed was the 12v battery (about $500ish to replace). The high voltage batteries are fine...

I finally made it home after dropping off the rental car and I checked my Chevy bolt. It’s been sitting here unplugged for six weeks and I’m still at a full charge. OK so I get it now about the Rivian, but please understand this hadn’t been my experience with the bolt. ?
