That's amazing! We will hit 2 years 02/07 and have nearly 64k miles. Little hiccups here and there, nothing major. Cross country with 4 kids. We could not be happier.
We have the Michelin 275/60/20 with almost 37k miles (3% adjusted) I don't think we will make it to 70k but we will definitely make it to 55k. I am very satisfied with the tire. We will probably go back to the 275/65/20 when these wear out because I think I taller tire looks nicer, but that is...
Anyone else have an issue where the phones and key fob don't work to start the vehicle? Only our key card work. Soft and hard resets haven't worked and sleep mode only worked once and then stopped working again. Not sure if anyone else has a fix. Rivian support did not.
I dropped mine off on Friday of last week and Wednesday they reached and let me know they were inspecting. I have the rentals until 11/14 because the told me two weeks to start work. I don't believe it is sustainable but I'm trying to go with the flow.
When I disconnect, I raise the tongue jack up high enough to release tensions on the chains. Then, I just disconnect the triangle piece that goes underneath the hitch. It is one pin and then I can reconnect quickly and lower the tongue jack. I have an electric tongue jack, so if do not, then...
I would say to set it to the tow height you will use and shut off kneel mode. The height of my Expedition and the R1S receiver was the same height, so I didn't have to make any adjustments.
There was an issue last summer where in warm climates the plug was getting too hot and faulting the charger. One of the software updates last summer limited the charging speed when the plug got too hot. Could be this, but just my best guess as you live in Miami.
I am hopeful, but not optimistic. I am a little biased though. My understanding is that the truck will be a full size pickup and the SUV will be midsize.
For me, the main consideration would be if the kids are good road travelers. We drove from PHX to st.louis in our R1S and it was a great trip with only minor hiccups. The trip was only marginally longer than the time we did the same drive in our expedition. I say, be adventurous and go for it.
