I have seen people on here comment that they never have connected to wifi and have got updates! No wifi needed AFAIK (unless you have no ATT service in your area).
Update:
Received my car back yesterday.
They were able to duplicate the issue with DC fast charging and replaced the Central Gateway Module
Charging only failed for me when the vehicle was at ~30% SOC or lower.
Looking forwards to testing it out soon! I have high hopes!
From the short video (probably an iPhone live photo) the car looks slightly different than an R1, and the size comparison to a model Y is an indicator that this vehicle must be smaller than an R1... right? Am I trippin?
