Well done! Thank you for sharing!
We haul our 25' Airstream with our 2023 R1T and have found that the journey is now a part of the joy of the get away. Stopping every 100 - 125 miles has its benefits. Imagine?
I am a Land Rover guy. We use 1" - 2" lift rods on our vehicles when we need additional clearance in the wheel wells. However, those impact the ride comfort. Does anyone recommend or produce lift rods for Rivian? Is that a possibility?
Next possibility - the off road tire you select has a...
I may be the only one who selected the Rivian recommended Nationwide. It was an option when finalizing my purchase. I secured the policy when I bought my R1T last year. I have my other 7 vehicles bundled with USAA, however they couldn't touch the rate that Nationwide quoted.
I tow a 25' Airstream International. I have an adjustable drop shank with my stabilizer bars that allows one to set the height properly. A level tow with about 750 - 850 lbs of tongue weight is key. My adjustable drop is 10" and can haul 14K lbs - it matches up with our stabilizer bars. The R1T...
Sadly, VW swings and misses on a lot of their line, not just EV. They do have the pinache of the bus and the bug that pull at certain heart strings though. And to think they have a link to Porsche - the engineering of the Taycan and soon to come Macan EV's are notable. 800 volt architecture...
My R1T typically gets about 2.2-2.3 Mi/KWH, 1.7ish hauling 2-2.5K lbs and about 1.1ish when hauling our 25' Airstream. The max I have hauled is about 8K lbs when towing my Defender on a hauler - the aerodynamics are horrible and averaged about 0.8ish. A bring range when hauling - aerodynamics...
Try the "Vehicle" icon that shows the front view of the Rivian. You are on the four tire icon that includes different information.
I just washed mine this morning. Running the latest update.
I will be spending the week skiing in Crested Butte at the end of February, after attending the Maine Winter Romp. I will bring brown water to the owner of that nice R1T and Tune, or any others enjoying the Waypoint. Living the dream!
My first EV was a 2023 Porsche Taycan purchased in the summer of 2022. It is a beast. While I can't match Kyle's numbers, I regularly charge 10 - 80% comfortably under 20 minutes. Porsche is the reason I purchased my R1T a year later. While my R1T takes considerably longer to charge, there is no...
The value of a lease vehicle is evident in the many posts. Thank you to all for running the figures.
However, those of us in States that are not able to acquire a Rivian with a lease - is there any update on if or when that might be an option?
All sounds good to me. I suggest more road trips.
In the past year, we have had 3 more RAN's open along major arteries in the mid-Atlantic. The more all of us travel, the better the experience shall be.
Enjoy!
I regularly drive my 2023 R1T on highway trips between 500 - 750 miles RT. Here in the Mid-Atlantic, the cost at RAN and EA chargers typically runs $0.36. Averaging 2.3 KwH/HR, I average about $0.16/mile. Our charging rates through Dominion Energy are very low - in the $0.03 - $0.05 range. Our...
