I used a wifi controller wired into my gate and my garage and use Alexa to open them. Buy either ismartgate or remootio (I use both, both work fine and are easy to install but need a power source) and connect them to Alexa. Then just say, "Alexa, open gate/garage" and boom, open sesame.
