Thanks Josh,
Just got off the phone with Rivian. We did a hard reset which killed the warnings, but they came back on again as I drove around the block. The service rep, Kay, put in for a priority service appt. He says the carās safe to drive, just NOT on SoCal freeways.
Peace!
Hi all,
Anyone have an idea of what these warnings mean? Is the vehicle safe to drive? I know itās in turtle mode (speed limited to 51mph) and a number of other features (adaptive cruise control, rear cross traffic unavailable) but it is driveable. Any suggestions before I contact Rivian?
Thanks!
Hi all. This morning, I woke to the fan on my R1S running wildly and loudly. I keep the car covered in my driveway. It was not charging and I had locked it for the night as usual. Approaching the car, it the car was VERY warm. I donāt recall if the lights were on. I quickly removed the car...
Being a lunk-head, I gave myself my 1st two dings: one was opening the door into one of those iron posts protecting a charging station, the other a bend in the door panel when I pushed it closed.
My wife, bless her, did not scold me, but calmly pointed out that our R1S is, after all, an...
Just got my windshield replaced by Safelite w aftermarket glass yesterday. Given the quality (or lack thereof) of Rivian glass, Iām cautiously optimistic. Safelite in San Diego is not yet certified for recalibration. The shop manager told me his āmaster technicianā is about to be trained by...
LOL. It was going 80+ mph headed west toward San Diego (roughly sea level to 4200 feet) that got me into trouble in the 1st place. I neglected to remember that the mileage estimate I got from my charge in Yuma (one that āestimatedā Iād be home in San Diego with 60+ miles to spare) did NOT...
Tried a number of search queries without luck. On the return leg of a recent (our first) road trip my R1S told me I had 42 miles of range when I was 30 miles from home. As it was my first venture into such a low SOC, I made a quick stop to ātop offā. My question is in the title of the post: how...
Probably could have posted this under a thread re wireless chargers, butā¦
Purchased the SOONish aftermarket wireless phone charger. On install, I had a problem with the āstep-down chargerā. Emailed the company on a Saturday. The next day - Sunday - Steve G replied, apologized, and promised to...
A lot of frivolous stuff. Key updates IMO:
1. Blind-spot cam on lane change
2. Mirrors dip on reverse
3. Turn signals low on drivers screen so they can be seen clearly
4. More functionality (driver-induced changes) on drivers screen
5. Alert when phone left on (non-functioning or aftermarket)...
