for R1/T - i tried the trailer plug. but it's not working - no power coming out of the plug.

i have a bike rack and it's blocking the view of my backup camera. so i bought an aftermarket backup camera so i can see past the bike rack. does anyone know where the factory backup light wire or fuse is located? or has anyone succesfully installed one with reverse activation? thanks

I don’t mind Safelite either. As long as it’s warranty and calibration is good too. It’s actually convenient if Safelite does it. They’re mobile and will come to you asap.

What Safelite said - Rivian won’t calibrate with none OEM glass.

Probably true on some Safelite outlets. But the one that called me was not gonna do it. He said they can’t get the OEM glass from Rivian. I’m glad I waited and got the SC to replace it instead. Hopefully picking it up in a day. They Uber me home now.

once i get new glass installed. i might just go and pay for the windshield version of ppf. pricey... but probably worth it just the wait to get new glass alone.

So it was too good to be true. I got a cancelation today from Safelite saying they are not authorized to calibrate and they can't get OEM glass. Rivian won't calibrate none OEM glass according to Safelite. So I have no choice but to wait for the Rivian appt. Hopefully something opens up soon.

I picked up my R1T from service only to find a crack when I got home. Not blaming anyone, cause it could have happened on my drive home. Has anyone use safelite for replacement? They do recalibrate the cameras now - according to their website. Are they using OEM glass? My insurance is...

so you have 25% when you get there. probably stay longer at the charging station and get at least 50% so you have enough to go back and charge in bishop.

does he stop and charge 3x at those stations? if so, for how long does he charge? i was hoping maybe going up to mammoth you charge at olancha or inyokern once and final at bishop. most of the time, car will be parked when we get to mammoth.

I'm taking my R1T to Mammoth next week for snowboard trip with the family. We're staying for about a week. What to expect on consumption and charging stations? How many stops for charging on the average? anyone done this trip lately?

i'm making this trip in a week for snowboarding trip.... making me think to just use my gas car lol.

for those who went with 33's on aftermarket A/T tires. did your mileage suffer? if so by how much? TIA
