  1. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

In person, very similar. These pics are taken in late day sun so the glare is pretty bad.
  2. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

Here are pics next to my gen 1 R1T
  3. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

Okay, here are pics beside my brothers Quicksilver MY.
  4. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

Why did I run in AP mode? I was going to stop 2x each way on the trip regardless of drive mode. Coming from gen 1 R1 where running in conserve increases uneven tire wear, I generally default to all purpose unless I need the extra range on a given trip or leg of a trip. With rear wheel focus on...
  5. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

Yes, I am keeping my LE R1T. The R2 will be my wife's daily driver while I continue to drive the R1T.
  6. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

That was one leg in All Purpose mode. So Conserve mode should be better.
  7. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

My brother has the Quicksilver Model Y. He is here with me right now. I will take side by side with his model Y to give you a feel for the comparison. Quicksilver is just a tad darker, but they are very close.
  8. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

You know, I didn't realize it at the time, but now that you say that, it did seem less aggressive at times and I suspect it is exactly what you are referencing as I was constantly switching modes to try and get a feel for what was different. Thanks for the tidbit. I definitely missed that.
  9. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

VIN 226x. I will try and get side by side pics with my R1T. My R1S is at my AZ home so can't get side by side with that.
  10. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

Sorry for the poor photos. It is stunning in real life. I am very happy with my choice!
  11. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

That was on one specific leg of the trip. Also note that I was in All-Purpose mode the whole trip. Never put it in conserve. I really was not watching efficiency at all as the stops were all natural stops for bathroom or food anyway. So, admittedly, I did not do a good job of tracking stats as...
  12. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

Unfortunately, no I didn't go to Buccee's as it was not on my route. I have been to Buccee's before and they are "something". Charging is great, but otherwise way to crowded for me. Also, usually not easy on/out of those places.
  13. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

Here you go ... added pics, hope I didn't add multiples ... haha, if so, oh well.
  14. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

Nothing that I noticed. And it was pretty sunny and hot during the trip.
  15. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

I was a day one reservation holder and got the invite on first day to configure. At the time, they said 8-12 weeks for silver, but I got a VIN assigned in about 2 weeks and they were trying to deliver on 6/30 to get it in the first quarter.
  16. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

One was a v4 cabinet, still maxed out at about 180 ... although I may have been a bit higher SOC on that one.
  17. R2 (Esker Silver) Road Trip Report

All, I took delivery of my Esker Silver R2 with 20/AT wheel/tire option on last Wednesday 7/8/2026 and promptly took a road trip over the weekend from Dayton, OH to Madison, WI (about 1000 miles round trip) for my nephews wedding. I have Gen 1 R!T and Gen 1 R1S, so all my comparisons are to my...
  18. Ohio to Phoenix - EA still the worst CPO

Another touch point ... I just went to Bryce Canyon and Zion for a long weekend from Buckeye AZ. Was hoping to stop at EA in Flagstaff as it was most convenient and cheaper since I still had the pricing plan, but 2 stations down and 2 full on both the way up and back, so used the Rivian RAN...
  19. Ohio to Phoenix - EA still the worst CPO

It sure did. But arrived really late at low state of charge and left really early, so only charged up to about 70%, but that was great.
