Ok I think I figured out where the proximity setting issue was coming from as I didn't read fast enough...while I was troubleshooting the garage setting not working earlier I tried clearing all location history...if you go into your gps map settings and clear the saved destinations it clears...

So I just did another soft reset (I had done one yesterday with no change) and this time though it did pickup my location correctly and the button has now reappeared..I guess try multiple soft resets is the answer!

Had the same problem in my Gen1 R1S after the update where the kneel setting wouldn't activate on Park. I had to drive & cycle the setting twice and now I think it is operating relatively normally again.
