Thanks for the reply, none that I tried fit in the main larger section - I found that either the sides had a good 1-1/2 to 2 inch gap (even with clips inserted) or the front and back of the shade were too long to even tuck under the headliner.

Totally normal, when it gets really hot it can get quite loud and you will even feel vibrations near your accelerator pedal. They have moved things around in Gen 2 so it does not vibrate but from what I hear it can still get loud.

Does anyone know why the R1S All Weather floor mats now list as only compatible with Gen 1? What changed in Gen 2 that the floor mats won't work?
