This one stings quite a bit...just bought the R1S lease like 3 weeks back and the lease payments have gone down by over $300 per month. I know the answer is likely no but do I have any options?
I had not locked my configuration in the non public shop, just had access to it. They refunded it in 2 mins...didnt have to try or anything. If you have a locked configuration and now want to switch to lease, that might be anywhere from tricky to impossible.
Do not yet have any of these details...I just see that a specific VIN (24 model quad) has been allocated to me and an option to check trade in values. I was told that a "guide" will reach out to me to discuss all numbers.
No, I just had deposit with shop access. I was going to lock it in yesterday hoping that once I lock, I will see lease option but then decided to call anyways first and they asked me not to lock from internal shop as they won't be able to offer lease there and instead order again from public shop.
Don't think they have only one possible 21" config. I ordered one yesterday from lease shop and after ordering, I could still see the same exact configuration still available with 1-2 weeks....not a site refresh issue either because it has been available for over 12 hrs since i ordered.
I was in the same boat - called up Rivian and they said to order a lease car, I need to order from public shop with a separate $1000 lock. The Rivian lady also cancelled my older $1000 deposit and refunded the money while I was on phone. I am not sure how it will work out or if it will if you...
Just placed my lease order for R1S Quad... got a 24 VIN number, so doesn't look like they are trying to clear old inventory as presumed by few here. Had to cancel my preorder from few months ago - they refunded the $1000 on that one.
I have access to R1 Shop now and I want to order an R1S Quad. The exact configuration I want is also available. However, I am not able to find if it is 23 model or 24 model (VIN numbers are not visible until I accept a configuration). I understand that functionality-wise, 23 and 24 are the same...
I had very similar kinds of questions regarding quad vs. PDM...specifically, I wanted to know how much they differ in All Purpose Mode (APM) given that I intend to drive in that mode 90% of the time. Luckily I got to test drive both of them back to back last week (PDM first and then Quad) and...
