I went there after my delivery in March and they did a good job fixing a scratch and they assigned me a mobile tech to do change of a tailgate frame. But I guess when it comes to more complex situations, they still have room for improvement
100% agree. What bothered me more was the lack of communication and “we will definitely call you when the repairs are done and give you a full debrief”
During my last road trip, I had a lot of issues trying to DC charge my R1T (which never happened in the past). The main error shown on the screen was "DC Fast Charging Unavailable - Wait until plug cools down". This error showed in different brands' stalls (FPL, CP and EA). Level 2 charging was...
I hope you get your issue fix ASAP.
I was (maybe I am?) in similar situation. My last long trip was nightmare to fast charge the truck. the EA stall wouldn't charge. ChargePoint only for few minutes. The FPL (Florida public chargers) worked only couple times (solid though) after maybe 40 tries...
Did they do something on the car?
I submitted a ticket recently as I started to see the warm plug issue while charging at DCFC station. I had the warm plug at home (not Rivian wall charger) but only during a really hot day (over 90F). No I believe both issues are connected
I did a trip from South Florida to Orlando (220+ miles) back in May with STD regen on (2024 R1T PDM STD+), using ACC and Driver+ for a few parts of the trip at 75-85 mph My efficiency was ~2.20 mi/kWh. I did the same trip a few days back but in High regen. A similar type of driving and I got...
Just an update: I tried the EA charger and it was a nightmare. First stall couldn’t connect, then switched to next one and after 10 min of “playing” finally started to charge at staggering 40 kw (350 kw charger). After 19 min, it dropped out. Called EA service support and they reset the stall...
I haven’t tried to reset the car (I was about to and the it worked). I tried 3 stalls with the same issue. My next charge should be in a EA station, which I used flawlessly last time and then I’ll try again the same FPL station. Let’s see what’s happen.
Hi!
I had some issues with DC charging today (Level 3 Florida Power & Light). I used the same chargers in the past (350 W and 200 W) no issues at all, just plug & play. Today it was nightmare: it wouldn’t connect, showed the red led and the console message was “disconnect & plug in again” (the...
I did another test today. 5 hrs charging with outside temps at 88-91 F and the fan pointing at the plug. No issues.
I took out the fan in the last 10% and I got the degraded rates. So, in my case is outside temp related.
I was having the same issue recently. I have the latest update on the R1T and 3 months with the truck. I use an EnelX wallbox charger (FPL Evolution provided charger). From my side everything was fine until the temperatures started to hit over 90’s F (South Florida). After 1 - 1.5 hr I started...
I did a 250 miles trip and yeah, the Rivian Nav was very conservative. I had 290 miles left and it was telling me that I won’t make it. I charged at the middle (10 min potty break) but without that miles added I would have arrived home with 30-40 miles (driving between 75-80 mph).
Now, I have a...
Oooh yeah.. The large and the max battery don’t have those issues. The large I ordered originally had the steps open few hours after I made the deposit. I’m not in a rush to get the car now. I have a vacation planned on the next days and will be returning on the 28th, so they can take their time.
Are your purchase steps open? I have an R1T Standard+ order (changed from a Large battery order after the announcement) and my purchase steps are not open yet (I completed almost all of them with the previous order). It looks like my truck is at the SC (Miami) as I was scheduled for delivery on...
I am waiting for the purchase steps to re-open (changed from Large Pack to Standard+). Florida doesn’t require 100/300. The lease company set the insurance requirement, no the State or the Insurance company. In example, Honda doesn’t require any specific limit (I had 2 Honda leases in the past)...
