A fellow R1S owner mentioned he had new tires installed at the Discount Tire in Rancho Penasquitos in San Diego. Let me know how to goes for you since mine are coming up for replacement

Agree, the Brain Exploder looks fine but $40 for it does not seem worth it. I have not seen any posts from others who may used it and how it stands up to normal use e.g. car washes and debadging at some point

Unfortunate, and the hassle of getting the repair done, dealing with insurance etc. Feel for you. You might want to save your Gear Guard clips in case you ever need it for insurance purposes

There a few good posts of car break-ins and Gear Guard capturing it. In one of the post the person breaking in was nabbed based on the Gear Guard video. So good to have the feature although it could use enhancements suggested above

Which location did you go to? Good to know since I will need to rotate my tires soon and worth the drive even if the location is OC/LA area. I am based on San Diego and great if anyone has recommendations on capable Discount Tire locations in San Diego

Agree. I posted an inquiry in the forum looking to borrow an adapter in the San Diego, Orange County area / mid-June. No luck thus far. I will likely receive an adapter from Rivian in a few months and so does not make sense for me to buy one now

Picked up my R1S a week ago. Quad/Large pack/Forest Edge-Warm Ash/22" Sport Bright wheels. A few issues which I will include later in my 1000-mile review. Overall its a great ride. Most importantly, my dog loves riding in it.

Same experience here. They review and get to the more urgent issues earlier is my understanding. I dont' think this will improve with the layoffs/cost-cutting measures being undertaken

How many miles did your new R1s or R1T have at pick-up/delivery? The purchase agreement i received for my R1S indicates there are 100 miles on it already which seems excessive. I was expecting a few miles prior to shipment and a few miles at the service center and so a total of around 20 miles...
