Just got my R1S windshield replaced for $1,666 but had to take the vehicle to the Rivian Support Center, so $1,750 for them to come to you sounds OK. Surprised they could do that though, since I was told there was significant calibration that had to be done after replacing the windshield.
I have often worried that drivers behind me, not seeing a brake light, might take longer to realize I was slowing down very quickly just by virtue of taking my foot off the accelerator. Perhaps a new valuable feature would be a brake light with significant deceleration???

Bought my R1S 6 months ago and was told Rivian was developing its own version of CarPlay, and that it would be available within the year. It can't happen fast enough for me. Badly in need of having texts read to me and ability to voice-respond. *at least*
I too had to learn this the hard way. Don't leave seatbelts fastened when you leave the R1S. ALSO, the same happened to me when I left a box on a backseat. The car presumed someone was sitting there and didn't shut off.

Got my R1S 3 weeks ago, and have used the portable charger multiple times. Plugged it in today and after less than 20 miles, it suddenly stopped. No blown fuse. The light on the charger near the outlet is red though, so it appears no juice is getting to the vehicle. Anyone have ideas about...
I can add onto mikehmb's great info that Electrify America chargers between Chicago and Louisville are pretty good. Same issue with some not working, and I've had to wait for a charger a couple of times. I *always* travel with the portable charger in my R1S just in case.
