For anyone thinking that they can predict their delivery based on past experience and estimated dates... August 2022 - Deposit October 2023 - Locked in Configuration (Deposit became non-refundable) with note that vehicle would be made in next 4 months... Estimated delivery Dec 2023/Jan 2024...

Final note for this thread and then I am moving on for a while hoping to see a Rivian in my garage by 3rd Q of this year at this point... Config locked in in October 2023 with estimated delivery of Dec 2023/Jan 2024. Shop access granted mid-December and delivery date removed. Shop access removed...

Oops - meant October - made the fix. I did confirm my order in October and then was given the estimate of Dec/Jan delivery.

This doesn't say much unfortunately. I was quoted 1-3 months in October and I still don't have a car. I just wish they were more transparent. I don't mind waiting for what I want, it is just the lack of communication that is frustrating.

After I put in my deposit the company passed me on to my local dealership in Northern California. So the rep was from the dealership. I assumed that was how it worked for everyone. I was even invited to a viewing party at the dealership which I had to decline due to scheduling issues.

I joined this forum for this information... Locked in September then in October received window of Dec 23/Jan24... Mid December it changed to "Processing" and got access to the Store. I emailed my guide and they simply said that my configuration was on a list to be produced. I emailed recently...
