  1. Radar Detector hardwire, who has done it?

For anyone following along, I measured my MirrorTap and can say, conclusively, it is the 15" variant. I used it on the Gen1 and now the Gen2 with no problem. Here are links to the exact one: (manufacturer)...
  2. Radar Detector hardwire, who has done it?

Thanks for that link! I'm PRETTY SURE I used the 10" on our 1st gen, but can't remember for sure. I can say I did, for sure, use the MTX MirrorTap and that I don't have any extra cord - like barely enough kind of thing. My mount was a cobbled together bit of parts from 67 Designs and it...
  3. Radar Detector hardwire, who has done it?

For your MirrorTap, did you go with the 15" long MTX-Series (the one with multiple "taps")? Or something else? If you did the 15", do you think you could've gotten by with the 10" long kit?
  4. Best Jack Pucks?

Here's the puck. I've tested it to 3t (6000lbs) in a press. Absolutely no problem. No weird sounds, no deformation, nothing. I don't know what it could actually withstand but, if Rivian Corpo says the jack should be rated for 3t, why press my little puck any further? BTW, if you don't want a...
  5. Best Jack Pucks?

The fact that Mark has been through here and did not address: doesn't bode well... :( I'm 3d printing a prototype right now as I type - filament and printer from Europe, designed and tested in America. I've already made a 'block' for the bottom of the OEM supplied puck to allow using that...
  6. Best Jack Pucks?

Thanks, Dave! MP, you would use all 4 if you had a shop auto lift. That way the entire vehicle could be lifted. For your average Joe, you might go for two so you could raise one side of the vehicle (with 2 jacks) to rotate your tires from front to back.
  7. Best Jack Pucks?

Does anyone know of any of these pucks that AREN'T made in China?
  8. Hitch tow hook recommendations?

This link is a bit over a month old but, I just saw it and I got to say; I think that's a pretty cool approach. They are making it different than anyone else and it's cool to see another way 'to skin the cat'. I have a Factor55 HitchLink Pro 2.0 and have quite a bit of Factor55 stuff. Can't go...
