For me it came down to money. I would have much rather traded it with Rivian for the convenience and tax relief. Hell, I would have had it in my garage today going that route. Wish they could have got closer, but the 11K difference including tax benefit made up my mind to sell it to Driveway...

My 8 steps opened up yesterday and in the process of shopping my trade-in. Rivian low-balled it pretty hard. 5K below KBB poor condition trade value. My guide said that they won't negotiate their offer. In the meantime I've secured financing and verified there won't be any issues with insurance.

I signed the PBA, and my guide said that I wouldn't get the 8-steps until I am matched with an R1T that has completed their PDI at the KC service center.

Any info on a service center in the metro area? When I spoke to my guide this week, he said that there was one scheduled to open last December, but he didn't have any other information. He said he would look into it. Curious if anyone has spotted it or knows any more info to the location and timing.

I received my guide contact under the disguise of "Charging your Rivian on the go". I scheduled my call, but not until the 2nd of May.

Not that I want to give the dealership any pub, but Dillon's Auto in Lincoln, NE. As of this posting, they have four listed. I went back this evening to check out the Launch Green one they had, as I wanted to see the color in person, and inquired a little deeper with a more pointed question...

There's a dealership here in Nebraska that has already sold several, and has more coming in. Said they are "getting them direct at a premium". ?

Definitely not clear!. Watched the slow-talking video, I determined that the funds need to only be transferred into the MS account, and they will draw from that when funded.
