thank you. I do have a connect subscription. But that wording, "to all compatible owners" just didn't seem very clear to me. ...since I have a 2023 VIN and all the updates for the last year apply mostly for gen2s... you just never know.
What does, "rolling out to all compatible Rivian Gen 1 owners who subscribe to Connect+" mean? How does one know if their two year old truck is incompatible and obsolete?
I like my 2023 gen 1 R1T. A lot. Paid cash for it and will probably drive it until it won't go any more... over 30k miles so far. ....but I think if I were in the market for a new truck right now, I'd try a Cybertruck. I'm still not in love with the way they look - they're out there man...
we are still in hurricane season, and most gulf coast strikes tend to be from mid/late August to October. :movember:
regardless, Rivian made the announcement over a year ago. I was excited then. I'm very skeptical now.
Over a year ago when Hurricane Berryl left most of the Houston area without power for over a week (and over two weeks in many places in the area), I was quite jealous of the Ford Lightning and Cybertruck owners who were prepared/installed and able to simply plug their truck into the box in their...
I'm in a deregulated area in TX, shopped around on Powertochoose to find a plan before my last one expired, and found a fixed rate plan at Gexa Energy that allows me to pair my Rivian to their app and give me a credit for all kWh charged to my Rivian between 11p and 5a.
My 20" scorpions were down to the wear bars at about 20k miles. ...and I replaced them with a new set of OEM 20" pirelli scorpions. ...I guess I was just nervous about throwing off odometer, speed, range estimates, etc.
Agree with Rade. If RIVN is going to replace it for you, let them.
The original motorized tonneau had been discontinued when I ordered my Gen1, and the manual replacement ones were also unavailable/out of stock when I ordered, and had been out on the gear shop for months. I shopped 3rd party...
Today I learned that the issue for which I've been waiting for over a month for a service center appointment is affectionately referred to as the "low speed tock issue" on here. I described it in my service ticket as "clicking or knocking noise when vehicle starts to roll or slows down".
I...
I have the rivian wall charger and have never messed with the amperage, so I guess it's at max. Every couple of days during the week, when I'm mostly just back and forth to work and to kids' activities and minor errands around town, when I get under 20% or so, I charge to 70% overnight at home...
Howdy, we're down in Tejas.
I just bought those bikes. Sons and I had a blast on them last weekend riding hilly trails through the woods at our ranch. Rocket mode is way too fast (over 50 mph) for our .5 mile gravel driveway... at least for us beginner riders. Being electric, but chain driven...
