Radius Wheels are available on tirerack com. Not sure if you get free shipping to the islands, but they are among the most affordable options for aftermarket R1 wheels. 276 ea + 300 for four TPMS sensors and black matching valves.
The sensors worked perfectly BTW
I wanted a 3 peak winter tire...
Liking the look too much, maybe I'll have a difficult time going back to the stock wheels and tires, even though I'll likely get a bit less road noise and a bit more range.
We started with a Hyundai Kona. The max regen is not as high as the R1T or you can set it to off. I found I got used to it pretty quickly and with the small car & battery could gain a decent % recharge on downhills.
The R1T is more aggressive for sure, for the first couple days I didn't like it...
I still like my Rivan, but some of my 2 cents;
The way this worked and got cancelled was quite lame in my opinion.
So prior to the rollout of Connectplus, I was using the Alexa music app, which seemingly is affiliated with Rivian, since Alexa seems to be integrated into the voice interface...
Certainly making every single thing optional and extra cost must help. They've limited the wheel selection and really bumped up the price of the off-road package.
Personally I've never removed the camp speaker from it's console niche and tested it.
Making this a small beverage and snack cooler...
I had some issues with my 1st R1T service. Some items were still deficient, and some not done, but they went out of their way to satisfy my concerns, including driving a Gen 1 R1T to my work, to swap out my truck and take it for repairs.
I'd guess my service loaner to be an earlier R1T quad, as...
I'm willing to look at the features, to see if it's something I want, or need.
I rented a brand new platinum F350 for a week, the sound system quality, OS felt like I stepped back 5 years. The Carplay was on a big screen but also wanting. Maps and interface felt like I had a big VGA monitor...
Good way to try and promote a couple youtube videos I guess.
If you are worried, then you should definitely not buy.
But before this, I had an F-150 for 12 years that I spent close to 30 K over that time in maintenance and major repairs, including having to replace a timing chain 1000kms...
I'm pretty pleased with the refined nature of my '24 R1T maxpack.
The only thing I've got to get serviced is there is a tiny amount of wind noise coming from the passenger side door at 70 mph speeds.
The vampire drain is a known issue, but there is a lot going on communication wise from the...
Picked mine up today, and installed them.
The first side took about an hour and a half. The second side, I had down to a science and took only about 45 minutes.
Even though I have a good impact gun, I'm not a big believer in using them for everything, especially specialty fasteners and lug...
Thanks for posting your modification. I just installed mine, but will probably do the same rail-mod on the next sunny weekend.
Ordered mine from Summit Racing, just because I've ordered a lot of stuff from them over the years and their return policy is among the best.
Took me about 45 minutes...
Sign me up. R3 reservation for my wife which will be bungled by me, in mistakenly placing our deposit on an R3X. After all, being able to climb wheelstops and parking lot curbs is very underrated. So is an under 3 second zero to 60.
I'd like to hear a little feedback from R1 owners who have had these for a while. We get a lot of salt/snow slush in the winter. I don't mind repainting any scuffed up areas due to off-roading but be great to see how they hold up after some rough weather.
Word is that the tent will be "Rust" Colored to match the CT paint scheme.

As soon as I saw this, after the initial shock of the R3 set in, I had to figure out how to convince the wife that we really need a Tri-Motor R3X, instead of the R3.
Rivian really nailed this design, my wife didn't like the R2, but asked me when the the R3 comes out.
Can't wait until they open...
Just to summarize so people don't have to browse the whole thread.
Fact; The Ram wheel/rim in question was designed for a 1500 series Ram truck which has a Gross Vehicle weight approximately 2000# less than the Rivian, and has no identifiable load rating/capacity.
Fact; Known to the truck...
Clearly you will, but in case a few people who read this thread happen to weight the options.
While the lug nut spacing might be the same, In addition to everything else, the Chrysler/Ram/Stellantis wheel uses a larger center bore diameter.
So what that means, instead of the wheel load being...
Could care less. That company has reputation for major wheel failures. Just because you say it's okay to use a 15-17 year old second hand wheel on a truck with 2000# + Gross vehicle rating??
I bet if something happens, both your vehicle insurance and warranty is voided.
Why people will cheap...
