Well soon it won’t matter much. Cellular data will be going through satellites so you can stream whatever you want anywhere in the world. So I guess technically you will have satellite music. Just not the way it used to be.

switching to 800V is a total redesign of the electrical system. Might as well redesign the mechanical system too.

That's a major redesign so I would think it wouldn't happen until at least 2030 and hopefully by then we have higher density batteries and get 500+ mile range

would be nice to get a real refresh in 2028 but I doubt that would happen that soon. 800V+ charging and 500 mile range would be nice options to have.

I have a Gen 1 QM and have a lifetime of 2.34 miles/kWh; mostly in AP with some conserve on the highway. I think 2.67 for TM in conserve would be pretty good. Rivian R1 vehicles aren't very efficient due to the aero. I doubt the new motors have that much effect on efficiency and are probably...

I get the exact same thing. And the app always says it’s connected for awhile and then says it’s not.

Agree. And now I'll have to wait until I can download the next update over cellular hoping that they fixed it. Already had remote service out and they didn't find any hardware issues so it has to be a software issue that they broke with the last update.

My WiFi was working great until this update (or maybe the previous one) broke it. I get network unavailable all the time and just had mobile service out. They found nothing wrong. So I guess it’s a software bug. Hope they fix it in the next update.

Why are you even here? What is your goal with these posts? I know you had a bad service experience but a lot of people have had good experiences. Maybe you are just trying to short the stock. Seems like the most logical explanation to me.

You don’t need connect+ to use the built in apps. You need a cellular connection to use them. It could be connect+ or hotspot through your phone.

That's what I thought about the 21s on the R1. But after 4 plus years there are really only 3 options. So I wouldn't count on there being more options.

So just use the AT until they wear out then go with AS. Easy. I'll never get a 21" tire again like I have on my R1T. Options are too limited.
