It's as if Rivian does not want its customers to find it.
Can I keep my own insurance and only buy the extended warranty?

Rivian should really configure the sound system to be either post sale upgradable and/or open a program that allows third parties to perform real upgrade.
Rivian should really work with third party companies to make the audio hardware upgradable. This way owners can easily move beyond the subpar-to-mediocre-at-best oem audio. Maybe even offer the upgrade as a service center install for a fee. As it stands, Rivian cannot compete with third party...
The random tailgate error happened to me a few times, then disappeared for a bit. Good thing I kept the appointment, because the tailgate error came back eventually. Yes the tech should be able to see the electronic log.
Better safe than sorry.
Another thing to note: on the Large Pack, the utility panel was a $650 option in March. Now, it's included along with the Gear Guard cable anchors (It was no longer included by default I was told by a guide, even with the utility panel selected).
