If you don't mind me asking, what height is it mounted at? I just had mine installed and they set it to the top height on the shank, and it seems to have the frame/tongue tilting up a bit. The truck is sitting very level at standard height, but it just seems a bit off to me to be that high.
With Rivian starting leasing back in November 2023, I’m guessing a lot of folks who did 24-month terms will be coming up on their lease end this November.
I’m curious if anyone has started the process for a lease return or lease pull ahead to get into a new Rivian. If so, how did it go?

I don't know how you got these but you rock! Thank you!
I was able to easily replace it following these instructions but I lost 9 out of the 12 clips on the trim. Once I heard the first one break I knew I lost. I used some double sided carpet tape for now. We'll see how that holds up.
Did you do it yourself or take it to the service center? I just bought one on eBay and was planning on replacing it today but I couldn't find anything on how to remove the back panel to get to it. My fear is what you mentioned about one time use of the top trim.
Did you end up replacing it? I bought a replacement off eBay but I can't find any videos on how to actually remove the tailgate back panel to get to it and I'm worried about removing the top trim and breaking the clips.
Just because I was looking at this thread before I took my R1T today.
Madison Heights, MI Service Center
Was hoping to get a loaner, but I got the reservation email from Enterprise yesterday so it was a long shot.
When I got there, the service center rep was very nice and was texting/calling...
This is killing me. I pulled the trigger on a 2023 R1T at the end of March thinking I was going to be getting the best deal cause it was end of quarter. Now I'm seeing I could have gotten the same R1T with a max instead of large battery and with a powered tonneau cover at $100 less a month. :crying:
I am, but often find the vehicle sleeping and disconnected from WiFi when I check my network. I’ve only had the truck for a few weeks so this is my first software update. I feel like I’m missing something here.
Never ran into being the last of the crop getting an update on my Tesla.
I don't like being part of this 2.8% stat... :(
Is there any known tricks to getting the update pushed to my vehicle? Do I have to keep the vehicle awake somehow?
Tesla Model Y. In three years replaced the windshield twice at a price of $1400 each time and top glass at a price of $1700.
Quickly learned at insurance renewal time not to ever used insurance for glass replacement even if you have glass coverage cause they jacked up the premium right away...
It is NOT included on the price shown in the shop on the website, but it is added the capitalized cost of the vehicle in the lease agreement. So it will impact the lease payment, but not your cash due at signing. Most folks have gotten payments at or around the lease calculator estimate though.
Yes, like I said. It’s in the cost of the vehicle already (gross capitalized cost as you stated) and calculated into the monthly payment.
My statement was simply stating that it’s not due at signing, not that it’s not added at all.
The destination fee is already build into the vehicle price. I don't know why people keep calling it out as a separate fee on top of it. Maybe it's different for purchases... but its definitely not tacked on for leases.
It's not bad. Here is mine for comparison in Michigan...
2023 R1T Rivian Blue with Large Pack and 22" Black
Leasing calc showed:
$857/month with 0 down payment, $895 acquisition fee, and first month of $857. Estimated due at signing was $1752.
Realistically:
Order subtotal
$82,500
Leasing...
Saying this is misleading. The monthly payment and down payment may be close, but the actual due at signing is no where near it regardless of how much you put down.
