The reason the state will not allow leasing is because of the fact that there is no dealerships in the state. There is no banking law that prohibits leading. Other EVs can be leased in the state. Both Tesla and Rivian do not have dealerships in the state.
So then why not just use a leasing company that writes in all states? That seems to be a poor business decision on Rivian’s part. Why would any car company use a leasing company that doesn’t write in all states. Tesla must use the same because you can’t lease one of them in Wi either
