I'm glad to hear about this, I'd only ever considered going to Nashville or Atlanta...
But hopefully I won't ever need anything our new local tech (see my post above) can't handle... 🤞
I had the mobile service appointment and it turns out they just moved a mobile technician to the area - Amazon requested them to have local support for all the delivery vans. So, in theory, it should be easier to get a mobile appointment in the Knoxville area now. Connor seems to be a great...
Just for someone's future reference - with ratchet straps, you can haul an LG 83" TV for at least 40 miles without committing the forbidden act of lying it flat...
Yes, I would call - when they called me to setup the appointment, they gave me the option of anytime that week. It was 2 weeks ago when they called - hopefully they'll still have appointments available for you
I'm east of Knoxville in Jefferson County.
I'd be interested in a meet-up if I can manage to be in town (I travel frequently for work)
Trails sound interesting - I've never done any in the Rivian.
Truthfully I really haven't done any since my '87 Nissan king cab - which I routinely had covered...
That's a really good point that I hadn't considered...
I need to think about that some more ?
So the "smart" features of the Rivian charger go beyond creating charging schedules and viewing statistics? I didn't realize there was further integration with the vehicle. It sounds as though you're...
Oh no - not unpopular at all.
The load sharing at that price point is the primary motivator for me. I'd be happy to hear about competing alternatives... I've got no particular love (or hate) for Tesla products - I just want certain features, safety & reliability at a good price. I feel like...
Thank you!
That's really good to know - I've been disappointed with the responsiveness of ones Tesla recommended on their website...
Now I just gotta wrap up this trip so I can get home a take care of these things and start enjoying my new R1T!
I just got my R1T and I'm figuring on the Tesla Universal for these 2 reasons.
We will be replacing our Bolt soon - which we've been doing ok charging via Level 1 for over 3 years. But it was the "second vehicle" with our ICE being primary. Now that we're going all BEV, I want to be as future...
Maybe, I'm missing something - but when I saw this thread, I'd recalled seeing these type of devices before (I'd consider getting one at some point) With a little searching, I was able to find several in-vehicle "desks" on Amazon...
Not exactly the same as pictured, but this one looks nice...
Just got my R1T a couple of days prior to leaving on a business trip. Was still chilly when I left, so not many bugs - but now I'm fearing the carnage when I get back...
There have been many mentions in this thread about ceramic and PPF. I've read up a bit on PPF - but can I get a quick primer...
FYI - my limited experience with etrailer support was quite good 7-8 years ago - if it's still the same, I'll bet if you ask them about compatibility, they will do their best to find you an answer. They ended up contacting the manufacturer to get a product question answered for me.
So, you...
Just discovered (based on your reply) the Roam case - that might be something I go for too. Still overwhelmed by all the possibilities.. Just got the R1T on the 11th
