  1. SOS - R1T bricked during aftermarket horn install (horn not at fault)

Following. Was planning to install the realwheelsEV one soon but will wait for OP’s answer / results.
  2. RealWheels EV Stainless Steel Running Boards

Installed yesterday! Took about 4 hours with a lunch break in between. First side took about 2 hours while I was being careful. Second side was finished within 45 minutes. The installation video was incredibly helpful and I took my time rewatching it so I didn’t miss anything. I chose to trim...
  3. Swap out - or not?

+1 for staying with the ATs until they’re too noisy (hearing 15-20k miles or so) so on average about a year or two. Then swap to all season’s when you’re ready. Better options, pricing, and more data on most of these tires as well. That’s what I plan to do.
  4. 20" Inch YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR CV 4S | 275/60R20 - 116H - 660AA - 3PMSF

Thank you for all your efforts! Might have to consider these over the Michelins. To confirm, these are 275/60s?
  5. Wheel/Tire Change Thoughts: 22's -> 20's w/ Non-oem 275/60's

Wouldn’t even know they were 60s. I was gonna stick with 65s for my next set to avoid the odometer confusion but I think 60s will be just fine! Especially given the range & efficiency benefits.
  6. RealWheels EV Stainless Steel Running Boards

I think they are still the best option on the market. Stainless, no history of rust, and good customer service. I had to cancel my megawatt sliders as my service center said running boards are more ideal for jacking up the car (for liability reasons they don’t trust third party sliders, even...
  7. RealWheels EV Stainless Steel Running Boards

I was about to pull the trigger on these until I saw your post. I was under the impression they were relatively simple to install but cutting anything makes me nervous. Would you say you regret the purchase or you’re still happy with them? What do you mean by ribbons?
  8. Any Service Center Issues with R1T Megawatt Sliders?

Someone sent me this yesterday. Rivian wants to charge $400 for the uninstall / re-install of sliders if the jack points are not stock, even if still accessible and reinforced by the slider.
  9. Any Service Center Issues with R1T Megawatt Sliders?

I understand that. The service rep was asking what else I was going to do with the car. As soon as I mentioned running boards / rock sliders, he was explaining the center's strict policy on not servicing any cars that have boards or sliders that "interfere" with jacking the car up. What that...
  10. Any Service Center Issues with R1T Megawatt Sliders?

I wish I knew how specific the Austin service center is. I will probably have to drive down and ask to clarify. I would love sliders for the structural soundness and ability to jack up easily, but wouldn't want the inconvenience / refusal to do work if the jack point is not stock.
  11. Any Service Center Issues with R1T Megawatt Sliders?

Yessir I am looking at them right now! For what it’s worth, electruck responded to my request right away and refunded the order within the hour!
  12. Any Service Center Issues with R1T Megawatt Sliders?

Sounds like it is very center specific. Most people outside of Austin have not had issues that I’ve seen, but our local Facebook group has noted issues.
  13. Any Service Center Issues with R1T Megawatt Sliders?

I will probably avoid rock sliders altogether. Initially I was considering them as they are structurally sound and jacking up the car could be done by anyone without proper equipment. But since then I bought a bottle jack and jackpucks. I will re-evaluate the EVS running boards. I know they are...
  14. Any Service Center Issues with R1T Megawatt Sliders?

Appreciate the advice. I will most likely reconsider the megawatt’s sliders. I don’t offroad and was mostly getting them for the quality and sturdiness. I’m hesitant to get the EVsportline steps/sliders with the rust issues they have. Do you have any running board recommendations?
