I took it by the Rivian SC today and was told that it seems to be some sort of paint defect underneath the PPF. If I wanted to fix it, the PPF will need to be removed, the entire quarter panel will need to be re-painted and later the PPF re-installed. They would of course cover the entire costs...
I have a 2024 Rivian R1T in El Cap that came factory wrapped in Xpel Stealth. The truck is only a few months old and has 2,000 miles. Can anyone advise what is happening here? I saw a video on YT that mentions the only part of the R1T that is metal / steel is the side of the bed so is that a...

Nothing new here, long time lurker of the forums so I know it isn’t common for orders to be cancelled for a bunch of different reasons.
I originally found an R1T from the shop which had about a 5 week delivery date from the date I placed the order. That specific order was cancelled about 3...
Hey there, I’m the one that replied to your comment yesterday “I’ll take it” regarding the wristband for sale. Were you able to take some photos?
Trying to narrow this down. How far up or down are you from the last 5 of your VIN # being 34270 as the one I saw at my local SC came with it installed and had the last 5 of it’s VIN # 34270.
I think you should be good to go then and have it come installed. I believe mid-march to ending of march production was when they started bringing them installed. Again, the one I saw was Vin # 34270 and it was a 03/26 build and brought it. Being that you are 300 after that would make me...
For reference, the one I saw at my local SC with the Tonneau installed had the last 5 of it’s VIN # 34270. How far are the last 5 of your VIN # from the one above?
Do you mind sharing the last 5 of your VIN?
For reference, I saw one at my local SC with the last 5 of 34270 with a build date of 03/26/24 and it came with the tonneau pre-installed.

Bummer. If you ask your guide they can provide the actual build date of your truck. They can look up your individual VIN # and it would tell them the exact date the truck was manufactured. Hopefully we can start trying to narrow down the dates the tonneau covers started to come pre-installed...
Any update?
There seems to be some speculation as to when the covers started to come installed on 2024 builds. I’ve heard mid-March build dates.
For reference, I saw one at my local SC (Miami, FL) with a build date of 03/26 and it came pre installed with the to tonneau cover.
Additionally, I...
Sounds good. I'm hopeful to have a smooth delivery experience now that the guide program is coming to an end. Which again, is a bit weird in it of itself as I'm already paired with a "guide". But, now that guide is also out of office and isn't available until May 10th according to an "out of...
Maybe, usually when that is the case there is some sort of "out of office" response. At least from previous experiences in the retail space. The reason I feel ghosted is because up until I placed more order, the person would response to emails the same days and even answer phone calls. Now...
In perspective, my local SC in Miami had an R1T parked outside with a build date of 03/26/24 and it came with the powered tonneau cover already installed. I heard somewhere that mid march build dates started bringing them already installed for this vehicles that were configured that way.
Exactly, It just seems a bit silly that they have actual employees at this location that can handle a lot of general questions. Funny enough, the individual was again, very friendly and overall helpful up until I placed an order online. I almost got the vibe as to they were engaging in an...
