I was told by numerous reps that they will reach out to the team and put in a request. I’ve followed up a few times but haven’t had any progress. I also requested a refund until they get more back in stock or figured out but they said they needed to wait until the item that never arrived was...
Yup same thing happened to me, trying to get it resolved is next to impossible. Also, the adapters are non returnable for safety reasons so it’s definitely a huge mistake on their end. At this point I’ll just keep it,
June delivery, due bill with estimated date over the summer, date got pushed 4 times and just got it installed last week. I raised hell for every month in between but they budge on any concessions.
As an owner we all know that is not a well run company. However there’s not a direct correlation to stock but there are noted and documented issues with the sales process service centers etc. I mean I’m still waiting on a power tonneau cover for like 8 months!
I was told they switched suppliers for the harnesses on the non retrofit models and they are delayed in getting parts out. Either way, regardless of cost Rivian has an obligation to do something but they have taken the stance to just keep delaying…… with no alternatives. I’d even be less...
This is very frustrating. I’ve been pushed 3 times as recently as last week on my 2023. I’ve been told it was a parts shortage due the harness and a supplier change. Either way Rivian needs to make it right for the customer whether it’s a credit or Manuel cover or something.
Thanks both, I just confirmed that after the reset all seems to function well. That was a bit concerning going into turtle on the highway... I hope it was a one time glitch....
Hello anybody know what this means? Was driving on the highway and this light came on and noticeably the drive was different. I was about 15 mins from home so I just coasted on in.

Yes they did not adjust the lease payment after the discount was applied, they just wanted to do the refund - have them adjust I pinged customer service chat online and the local team called me right away.
I'm also in California - money factor .00001 - kind of ridiculous when you think about...
I believe the difference in your payment is the fact that they are giving you a refund vs running it through your lease payment as a monthly discount. I had them go back and change it which lowered my payment by $180/month. There could also be a difference our money factors
