I drive sport mode ~80% of the time (Gen 1 R1S Quad 21” OEMs). Noticing a subtle difference — the steering feels 5% sharper and cornering feels a bit better. I was hoping Rivian would tighten the steering wheel like modern BMWs do when you put it into sport mode, but that isn’t the case.

every time I put my gen 1 R1S on sport mode and on the lowest suspension / firmest ride, it feels like I’m riding on a horse. kind of a weird uncomfortable feeling but I like it :)

yup, enterprise mentioned Rivian only covered $60/day, but the cheapest vehicle they had was $80/day. Rivian did end up giving me a R1S loaner 2 weeks later after being in the shop but I had to aggressively text the service number to get a loaner. Very close to contacting a lemon law firm… car...

Quick update — the car is still in the shop, coming in on day 18. Turns out the hydraulic fluid was overfilled, causing the software to freak out and think the suspension was malfunctioning. They replaced the entire rear suspension system and now they're still waiting for a part to ship from...
