Went in for the cold-weather induced Degas hose and bottle replacement on my 25 R1t.
On a lark, asked them to check the battery. The found it defective and replaced it.
Phew!
Itās the only time I miss the old days when the lights dimmed or the starter clickedā¦and you could just swap in a new one...
Yup.
Northern climate and road trips. Just 300 miles doesnāt cut it. It is the reason, IMHO, that EV adoption is so slow at any price point.
Iām not road tripping every week but stopping every 2 and one half hours for 20-25 minutes when I do is much more than my bladder needs.
Sadly, that...
Range is the thing with all EVs at any price point, but especially for entry cars, IMHO. Whoever hits 400 miles accurately and economically wins the prize.

Look but donāt touch. LOL.
When and if it comes to NY, Iāll drive my R1T down to go sit in the other EVs. Then Iāll go look at an R2. Marketing genius.
A query to ChatGPT provides a detailed description of CRās reliability methodology.
I filled in their questionnaire regularly when I was a subscriber. Iāll make no judgements, but if I were still a subscriber I would have reported honestly, like I suspect most subscribers do. I was a victim of...
