I get a warning light on the dash if they are left open, but bricking the car is insane when they had to have known the locking mechanism might fail or someone might want to keep them open. Intentionally.
Interesting. Will have to run it to ground today. I'm on an iPhone 14 Pro Max and distinctly recall trying to unlock the R1S directly from the Widget and it not doing anything.
I have the widget on my phone and I can't unlock or really do anything directly from it. I have to touch it, which then launches the app, and then perform the function, which seems stupid to me.
It has clean/modern lines like the R1T with a front end that just looks crisper and more modern to me. The headlights remind me of Porsche's current light signature. Yes, it looks retro, but definitely modern to me. I'm digging it.
The Terra is probably a little too big for me - R1T is about as big as I would want to go, particularly since I'm already struggling to justify a pickup truck in the first place. But I will say this - I think the Terra looks fantastic. My first thought upon seeing it was, "The R1T looks...
That’s a very useful comparison. We have my MSP and the wife’s eTron SUV. The range on the eTron sucks at barely over 200 miles. Would normally not be an issue for most people like us who charge at home, but we have a kid in travel soccer and heading off to play college soccer next year. My days...
Was hoping for 300m real world range at a minimum. I’m looking to replace my Model S Plaid with a R1T Quad; the range gives me pause as I will be making regular 350 mile trips monthly. Would not be so much of an issue with fast/efficient charging but 55mins 5-to-80% is no bueno. Hoping one or...
$63k for my ‘22 Model S Plaid with 17.7k miles and no FSD. Not bad considering what they are selling them for now but I paid over $115k a little over a year ago before Tesla dropped the price by like $30k a few months later.
I own a Tesla and I want CarPlay. I use Waze not so much for navigation but as a countermeasure. I might be one of the 5 people who pay for Pandora and would much rather an in-car implementation vs Bluetooth. As others have mentioned in-car Internet is no longer free so I am paying for...
Don't own a Rivian, but we also went with the Chargepoint and it has been rock solid since we had it installed in 2020. We went with the plug-in version with a NEMA 14-50 plug on a 50amp circuit. Highly unlikely we'll be moving any time soon, but the plug in option allows me to take it with me...
