Yes but as a 2025 model year.
my guess is also the same. 2028 model year with gen 3 hardware. I imagine both R1 and R2 will release gen 3 at the same time. For R1 I only suspect LiDAR, new steering wheel controls, and perhaps a new color to keep it interesting.
I saw one on the way to Vegas about a week ago. Initially when I pulled in to charge I was confused to why this Rivian was parked the wrong way to charge. Upon closer inspection it was the R2! Dealer plates from Illinois so not a production model, per se.
I’d say the R2 by itself doesn’t...
Any answers on the following:
Easy drop rear seat buttons from the trunk?
Do the R2's have ventilated/cooled front seats?
Sucks that the pop out quarter panel windows didn't make the cut. Maybe an option? Or offered on the Tri?
Agreed! Honestly the sooner Rivian reveals the gen 3 R2 is going to be $10k-$15k (or whatever the heavier lift is going to be) more expensive than gen 2 R2, I think more people will gladly accept gen 2 R2.
I am not either, sadly.
This morning I did a hard reset, reset trip A, and went for a drive. Quite the discrepancy between what the Energy Monitor shows vs Trip A. A 0.4 mi/kWh difference.
I’m on 26.30 and it is not fixed. I don’t want to reset my Trip B as that’s the lifetime one, haha! Hope there is a proper fix soon. I will go ahead and try resetting Trip A to see if that works Though.
I complete understand the MT logic, I still own one myself (this is why I installed the brake flasher where I just tap the brake to engage while using the engine brake to slow down). All I’m saying is times have changed. More people are distracted than ever before, heavily reliant on GPS and...
Totally understand it's on the drivers behind me to drive responsibly and pay attention. But in the age where everyone is texting, phones on their laps, folks not having insurance, etc. I've just become more and more paranoid of being rear ended.
On my other car (ICE) I added a brake light...
I'm with OP on this one, I only do one pedal driving and feather it from stoplight to stoplight so that I'm not deaccelerating too fast to where it causes jerkiness. But the drawback here is traffic behind me may not understand/pay attention that I'm slowing down and could case a rear-end...
Same issue here OP.
Version .22 brought it on, also had my 12v swapped + bracket. Gen 2.
The energy monitor on the main screen and efficiency gauge on the driver screen are operating normally.
