I haven't tried the USB yet. I've booked a service appointment but it will be 3 weeks later. Will update this thread once I got back. I suspect it's a software bug as well.

Thank you for the information. The owner's guide does seem to imply (or maybe it's my poor English) that the parking assist audible warning setting might revert back after the drive cycle, although when I ask the customer service agent, she said it's not expected to revert.
