Following up my last post. Rivian contacted me a day or two after the last visit and said they would replace the outlet. Tech came back and replaced it with one that works properly in <10 minutes. No cost to me.
I had a mobile tech come and look at it. His answer was that on Gen 2s you MUST use a three pronged.
I pointed out that we use a 2 pronged plug all the time in the outlet by the console. He tried to convince me that the rear is how it was supposed to be and that he double checked with his...
I was able to push the plug into the outlet once, took it out to adjust, and can’t push it back in. I tried with and without the outlets powered. Any idea what’s going on with it? I can plug the same plug into the console outlet without trouble.
Also, I know the fat prong goes on the left but I...
The Emergency Response guide indicates that in a crash the doors are automatically unlocked (but not unlatched). link to R1T guide
On reddit, Wassym said that in a crash the doors are unlocked (including rear on R1S G2), an emergency call is made, and video of the crash is recorded:

I'm looking at getting a travel trailer that's ~6500GVWR and comes with an articulating hitch. Some questions about this and weight distribution for my R1S.
- Aside from one Australian brand (McHitch, not available in WD version in US?) there is no WD articulating hitch on the market?

Would there be any issue covering most of the gaps around the windshield/pillar with this?
I moved from Texas where I didn't need ATs, but now that I'm in Colorado I switched to AT tires and looking to sell the 22" OEM range wheels and tires. 6300 miles, just inspected by Denver service center who said that all the tires had good tread of 7 and 8 (measured in milliliters I think?)...
I think it might just be a placeholder given Wassym tweeted about 2025.06: https://riviantrackr.com/news/rivians-2025-06-update-will-let-owners-swap-wheels-without-a-service-visit/
Based on Electrifi and RIvianRoamerI don't think 2025.06 has been seen deployed anywhere.
tl;dr I am very happy with the R1S. A lot of the original concerns ended up not being a big deal or a misunderstanding.
Well... despite the concerns, I ended up getting a Trimax delivered yesterday. I thought it would be right to go back and revisit the list that y'all helped me think about a...
