Update - finally got an update after 2 weeks in the service center.
Battery drain: turns out the car has never gone to “sleep” since delivery. A new “module” has been ordered.
Proximity issue: tbd
No audio: the latest software update overloaded the amplifier. Plan is to roll back the software...
Thanks for that link! Sounds like gen2 is just a problem! We also dont have audio, battery drains, and with proximity off - the car still self locks and unlocks. Im ready to ask for another car (this is leased too)
Nah - we are in the low 80s. Rivian support walked us through multiple soft and hard resets. Nothing works. It’s sitting at the service center now, waiting for an engineer to inspect.
Thanks for the insight. We actually got a call an hour ago to drop off at the service center for an engineer to take a look. I honestly do like the car and want to give Rivian a fair chance to fix it. Will provide more updates!
Is that the process for calibration? When we got the message to charge to 100%, we did that, but have not depleted to 0. The range is also not accurate. I came home on Friday and it stated 168mi and once i parked and came back to the car a few hours later it said 146mi. Cant explain why the drop.
Every feature that I can turn off has been turned off. We are just using the Rivian app - a google phone and an iphone.
