    $7500 from losing the tax credit + $5000 over expected = $12500 more than when deposit was placed. Not entirely Rivians fault of course, but it is what it is.

    Said it right there. I think a non-performance launch edition would have served rivian better.

    As much as this is in line with realistic expectations, this just might not work for me. Before the loss of the tax credit I was hoping for a 55k launch edition, so with that loss and the pricing the number is $12,500 higher than i was hoping for and I just don't know if I love it enough to...

  5. R1T Gen 2 ordered July 23rd

    FWIW a friend took delivery of their Gen 2 R1T today. Standard range, no dynamic glass. According to the service center this was their second Gen 2 R1T delivery. So they are out there!
