sounds like clear coat oxidation which can happen from bird droppings which are acidic. This will happen on any car. A little compound on a microfiber cloth will take it right out. Obviously clean the area well before doing anything, don’t want to rub dirt and grime in.
It’s a tire rotation. Not rocket science. They can jack on the control arms as well. I have a mobile tire service just come to my house and do rotations. I just asked him to bring a high-lift jack. I understand needing to remove it for balancing or if they need to put it on a lift, but for a...
The lease deals are generally not advantageous. Have em removed and install a new system. It should be pretty straightforward considering that the basic infrastructure (subpanel etc.) is all there. If I’m not mistaken you get a federal tax credit worth 30% of the install, and payback is 7-8...
We had a leased MY LR that ended in the Spring. I bought a used Gen 1 R1T quad (only 1 kid). So far it’s been great, and I got the service history before buying it, which gave me a sense of whether it had any significant issues. I caution going through a dealership the Mercedes-Benz dealer I...
Just replaced mine at 24k miles they were down to the wear bars… they looked nothing like that. I agree with others… heat? I’ve never seen a tire do that.
I had a BMW I3 with a REX. It seems great on face value, but even with the lower i3 range I never used it. They have to run in maintenance mode pretty frequently so this little scooter motor would just randomly run in the back of the car every few days. I also needed to change the oil every 5000...
FWIW my dad had this happen in his Model Y and Model 3 and here is a forum thread that is remarkably similar to threads on here:

Would like to start by saying I would love to see them succeed. I also think with the stock as low as it is, they are a very attractive acquisition. It’s not just the software, it’s also that they are vertical. No dealerships, a flawed but existing service center network, RAN, engineering talent...
Yup I made a mistake on an order and it’s now been four days with no response from them. Phone call, multiple emails. Will update if they turn it around.
I had this yesterday morning, infotainment reset cleared it up. It seems to be a bug from the last update. It almost sounded like it was playing in Karaoke mode because the vocals were so muffled.
