This seems to be a likely scenario. I do remember delayed / non responsive button taps in the app.
seems like the more user friendly design would be to throw an error w/in 30 seconds and have the request timeout rather than keep that open frunk command buffered and go out at some random time.

I was at a RAN charger and an R1S pulls up to my driver side. The adult passenger was oblivious and swings the door open and I hear a thud. Luckly no damage was done but just know that even parking next to another Rivian does not prevent door dings.
@KiefChap @khd94 Good to at least know I don’t have a unique situation. The things that add to the frustration are: No estimated timeframe, $1800+tax already paid, no prior notice that it is backordered. The SC didn’t even give me the headsup, I had to ask.
There was no note or warning that showed on the R1 shop listing that indicated the manual tonneau would be delivered at a later date.
I have seen the note about the PTC being available later in the year.
Took delivery of a Gen1 R1T last week and was told the manual tonneau, that should have been included, is out of stock. I was also told there is no timeline for when I would receive it. It’s frustrating to pay for something that you don’t get to use.

Same experience here. They told me the referral could only be added at the Checkout page ( where you make your deposit payment). If you are at the stage where you’re waiting for delivery and haven't completed the purchase process, it’s too late to add a referral code.
Congrats on the Quad! Looks like being able to purchase in a different market will vary according to what state you live in. The guide out in MO told me I couldn’t purchase even if I flew over to pick it up :( I’m still waiting for any 2023 or 2024 Large to show up on the shop in CA.
