I just found out the extension cable caused issues, the car seems to not sleep as long and staying in idle state , took out the extension cable and everything went back to normal (long period sleeps and brief idles), might have to do with the gauges of the flat extension wires? not really sure...

Yup, same setup as I have, I also added a flat odb2 extension that routes under the floor mat for easier connection https://a.co/d/cttzcNy

Yes, plugged in the level 2 charger and odb2 battery tender at the same time, pretty much no more phantom drain when parked at home

Yup, same here, tech had to roll down windows and turn off ac/sound to verify, it was a very faint chirping going over bump at low speed

I wonder if this AC to DC adjustable power supply would work to supply the constant 30amp 13-16V requirement to recharge the 12v.. could plug in the AC to a portable power station for road trip emergency.
