Response from support is that Climate Scheduling “is in the pipeline for Gen2 software, and will be released with a future update.” He didn’t have details on when or what version the feature would be enabled for Gen2; maybe others can find out more.

I have the same issue on my Gen2 R1S; I didn’t notice until the temps dropped and I wanted to enable it in the morning. I’m curious what you find. I’ll submit a support ticket
