It works great for my iPhone. It places the screen near the field of vision, perfect for Waze. I moved the ProClip mount from a prior vehicle and only ordered the Rivian-specific adapter.
Yes, I do find the system is constantly making micro adjustments. Frankly I do not feel very comfortable with the system at all and after 2 months of ownership I no longer use it. As far as I am concerned I would be happier if the car did not have any of these gimmicks.

I took delivery of my 2025 R1S a month ago and have had similar issues. Hard reset has worked so far. There is a new problem with the sensors this morning, I hope it will get cured the same way.

I fully concur with your description. ACC is extremely unpredictable and downright dangerous. In my mind this is by far the worst feature of the R1S. If anyone knows how to use "manual" cruise control only without towing I would love to know.
