My pleasure. There is an option to select either Bluetooth or the device speaker. I’ll test it tomorrow, but if I remember correctly, if the Bluetooth option is selected and the Rivian audio source is not set to Bluetooth, the sound will come out of your phone.

I don’t know about the software differences. As for auto shutoff, there is a switch on the plug that goes into the OBD2 port. If you set it to “0” the screen will shutoff approximately 20 minutes after the car shuts off.
