Too bad, I saw one the other day driving through the center of Red Bank, NJ (white) and it was just stunning. I’d like to see more, and perhaps one in my driveway. ;)
I have a deposits on the entire field: CT, R1T, F150, Hummer and Silverado. I felt at first the Silverado would be a compromise from the others (excluding F150) until I started researching it. I think the styling is quite nice, the size is fine (I have Raptor now), the tech looks good with...
That’s my point no one would. I’m not sure if you read the article but they were discussing the murky tax situation of deliveries in IL vs state of residence. My point is that will get cleared up and sales tax will be paid locally and specifically at the time of registration in most states...
Yes I left that detail out but that’s correct. I’d I buy Rivian in IL and pay tax when I go to register it again in NJ I’ll pay it again (Theoretically). This will Hamper sales and as you said deal with the franchise laws separately.
Tesla had to shut down sales in NJ years ago because of...
I really haven't thought about but Tesla has managed to change new vehicle announcements into an Apple type of event where you see the new iPhone, iPad and perhaps one more thing. Only Apple sells you that stuff 2 weeks to 2 months later.
It's crazy that these events drive such anticipation...
Yeah, I ordered when they opened them up and then modified it to waitlist for 1st edition. I'm not sure I can wait another year and half if I don't get moved up. Looking at the Rivian and Cybertruck as alternatives. The F150, while really nice, doesn't excite me.
Interesting I thought with the SUT each model was a year after the initial. I pre-ordered an EV3X a while ago but currently the web site says EV3X fall 2022.
I'm hoping your optimistic view (5,500) is the outcome. I'm unsure which electric utility vehicle I will get but I'm a fan of them all. I just think GM and the Hummer (not first editions) are 11/2023, Cybertruck has no date, Ford may do the Lightening spring 2022. Rivian will definitely be...
I may have misunderstood but I didn't think that the schedule had remained the same and the initial deliveries were in Jan 2022. If I'm wrong I hope to see one driving around soon.
If you are speaking of the original roadster they weren't really assembly line vehicles. They were getting Lotus...
hey new to the forum so here’s my first post. I’m disappointed in no 400 mi pack in the R1S. I actually joined here to find out if that would change but it doesn’t seem like it will.
I own two Tesla’s and have a deposit on the CT but really love the look of the Rivian. I was able to see a...
